Bill Munns' Galleries |
RECENT WORKS - This gallery has many of my newer images from the last year
and a half. The gallery is a mixed lot, in terms of software, with several
images done in 3D Studio Max (the HGB Map Room series) and one done in
Maya 2.5. But for the most part, it's still largely Bryce that you're seeing,
with occasional Photoshop post work. In this gallery are numerous images
of my second attempt at visualizing the fabled Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
This group includes both exterior and interior images. They are all prefaced
by the initials HGB V2. |
SEVEN WONDERS GALLERY - This gallery was shown in my previous Website,
but I have added a traditional design of the Lighthouse to my more speculative
versions. The Hanging Gardens images here (and in my Bryce 3 Gallery below)
are what I now refer to as Version 1. In the Recent Works Gallery (above),
I have numerous images of my second design of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon,
what I refer to as Version 2. While the second version is more Babylonian
in detailing and probably closer to historical concepts of structure, the
first version in this gallery is still intriguing to see. |
THE BRYCE 3 GALLERY - This group features highlights of my Bryce 3 work
in 1998. Everything here is 100 percent pure Bryce. Perhaps the two most
important examples of my artistic growth were creating custom trees (instead
of using the program library trees I used in my Bryce 2 work) and aggressive
use of lights for evening or night scenes. |
THE BRYCE 2 GALLERY - Where it all began for me. They are incredibly simple,
compared to what I do now, but artistically, these images still have a
persuasive visual enchantment I am happy to display. |
